Chester man charged in Capitol attack

A retired Chester firefighter was in Lehigh County Jail Thursday after he was accused of hurling a fire extinguisher that struck three Capitol Police officers during the attack at the U.S. Capitol on Jan. 6.

What’s next? The federal charges against Robert Sanford are not related to the death of another officer who died after he was struck by a different fire extinguisher.
