William (Bill) J. Baldwin

Bill, 81 passed away on March 14th after long battle with Parkinson's Disease/Lewy Body Dementia. He was born December 21, 1939 in Newburgh, NY, the son of Charles and Beatrice (Kohl) Baldwin.

Bill graduated from Newburgh Free Academy High School in 1956 and University of Pittsburgh, Class of 1964 with a BS in Mechanical Engineerin­g. Bill married Barbara Young and celebrated 56 years of marriage last August 2020.

Bill worked for Mack Trucks in the Test and Developmen­t Division until his retirement in 2000. He was an avid hunter and fisherman and enjoyed spending his summers with Barb, family and friends at their cabin in Maine. He was know for his quick wit and sense of humor, and loved a good joke. Playing golf with his family was a favorite pastime, especially when he was able to hit the ball straight.

Along with his wife, he is survived by his 3 sons: Daniel and his wife Kimberly (Martin); Thomas and his wife Carmela (Campopiano) and their 3 children Zachary, Lauren, and James; William and his wife Jennifer

(Shuck) and their 3 children Cade, Peyton, and Reagan; his brother Charles; and sister Diane Kleinschmi­dt. There will be no service or calling hours. A celebratio­n of life will be held at a later date. Please contact the family if interested in attending. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the Michael J. Fox Foundation or a charity of your choice in memory of William J. Baldwin.
