DeSales MBA offers education events
The DeSales University MBA has a number of opportunities for continuing education available in September and October. These events are open to the general public.
Meet and Greet: 5:30-7:30 p.m. Sept. 14 at Bru Daddy’s in Center City Allentown www. brudaddys.com.

A Power Breakfast will be held 7:30-9 a.m. Sept. 22 at DeSales University Center, Center Valley Campus. The topic is “Effective Leadership in the Digital Age” with Paul Leese, MBA, executive vice president Keenan-Nagle Advertising. This is a free event.

EXCEL Bootcamp will be held 6-9:30 p.m. Sept. 28. Learn the basics of Excel in this free class with Donna Reed.

Also, DeSales MBA is offering new one-credit courses available to anyone with a bachelor’s degree. These Saturday classes happen over two meeting dates.

MBE502 — Analysis with Microsoft Power BI will be held 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sept. 11 and 25 on DeSales Center Valley campus or via Zoom. Understand how to harness insights from your data for informed decision-making using Microsoft Power BI, a newly developed business intelligence tool that integrates seamlessly with all the Microsoft Office suite of tools. Power BI helps you create and share impactful visualizations with others across the corporation.
MBE503 — Managing and Leading People, A Day to Day Guide will be held, live via Zoom sessions, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Oct. 9 and 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Oct. 16.
Ascertain the latest advice on how to manage change, motivate, discipline, delegate, inspire, and problem solve — all the critical skills you need to succeed as a supervisor of people. Students will be offered the opportunity to identify specific topics of interest to their needs and concerns prior to the first class meeting.
