Mary T. Parker

Mary T. Parker, 84, of Allentown, passed away on Thursday, October 7, 2021 in St. Luke’s Sacred Heart Hospital. She was the wife of the late Howard O. “Howie” Parker, Jr., who

died in 1991.

Born in Allentown, she was a daughter of the late Walter and Mary (Gallagher) Weil. Mary attended Allentown Central Catholic High School. She enjoyed her numerous

jobs at the Fearless Fire Company in Allentown, where she was a waitress for many years. Mary was a member of St. Paul’s R.C. Church in Allentown. She loved her pets, liked to garden and took pride in taking care of her family and her home.

Survivors: Son, Roderic M. Parker and his wife Lisa of Lower Macungie Township; sisters, Kathleen Duff and Cecilia Adams of South Whitehall Township; grandchildren, Devan Rogers and her husband Peter, Aaron Rocchino and his wife Monica, Caroline and Jessette Long; 1 great-granddaughter, Pallie. Mary was preceded in death by a son Thomas E. Parker, daughter Suzanne E. Parker; brother Walter “Pete” Weil, and sisters Marjorie, Annette “Bambi” and Lorraine.

Services: Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:30 AM on Friday, October 15, 2021 in St. Paul’s

R.C. Church, 920 S. 2nd Street, Allentown. A viewing for relatives and friends will be held from 10:30 AM until the time of the service. Interment will follow at Resurrection Cemetery, Wescosville. We request that face coverings are worn inside the church if you are not vaccinated. Arrangements are entrusted to K.V. Knopp Funeral Home, Inc., Allentown.
