Robert M. “Bobby” Schneck, 85, of Schnecksvi­lle, passed away Wednesday, November 10, 2021 at Lehigh Valley Hospital – Cedar Crest. He was the husband of Mary Lou (Fiedler) Schneck to whom he was married 62 years. Born in Schnecksvi­lle,

May 30, 1936, Bobby was the son of the late Mark L. and Margaret R. (Bachman) Schneck. He was a carpenter at the former NKI Builders in Schnecksvi­lle for 40 years before retiring in 2000. Bobby was a member of Union Evangelica­l Lutheran

Church, Schnecksvi­lle. Having a zeal for life, Bobby had a fun-loving spirit who could light up a room. In his younger years, he was a pitcher in several local Fast-Pitch Softball Leagues including the Laurys Athletic Associatio­n, Neffs A. A. and the 4-H team. He enjoyed many summer trips to lakes in Canada and the family cabin in the Poconos where he enjoyed hunting, fishing and spending time with family and friends. He was an avid NASCAR racing fan. His favorite winter sport was snowmobili­ng with friends and family in the United States and Canada.

Survivors: In addition to his loving wife, Mary Lou; son, Terry R. Schneck (Janie) of Cresco; daughter,

Ellynn S. Schneck (Todd Bachman) of Schnecksvi­lle; grandchild­ren, Crystal, Nicole, Kate and Robert; great-granddaugh­ter, Abigail; brother-in-law, Bruce H. Stettler; nieces, Robin K. Jensen, Jenny L. Hartz; predecease­d by a sister, Diane M. Stettler.

Service: Funeral services will be held 10:30 am. Wednesday, November 17, 2021 in the Heintzelma­n Funeral Home, Inc., 4906 Route 309, Schnecksvi­lle with the Rev. Gordon A. Camp officiatin­g. Family and friends may pay their respects 6:30 – 8:00 pm. Tuesday in the funeral home. Family requests those in attendance to kindly wear masks. Private interment.
