Carol M. Klinetob, 72, of Macungie, passed away peacefully on Friday, April 1, 2022, after a decline from Alzheimer's disease. Carol was born in

Glen Lyon, PA on December 18th, 1949, to the late Nello and Evelyn Roke. She graduated from Newport Township High School in 1967, and then received a BS in Medical Terminolog­y at Wilkes College. Carol and her husband, Carl Klinetob, were married on April 18th, 1972. After staying at home to raise their three children, she then decided to pursue her long-desired goal of becoming a nurse. Carol graduated from St. Luke's School of Nursing in Bethlehem in 1999, receiving her BSN and MSN shortly thereafter.

Carol was an active member of New Covenant Christian Community Church. She was devoted to her faith and found a deep joy in being with her church community, as well as in spending time with her children and grandchild­ren, her many friends, and the numerous patients she passionate­ly cared for during her time as an oncology nurse.

Carol is survived by Carl, her husband of 50 years; her son Brian and wife Hannah; her daughter Sarah Klinetob Lowe and husband Kevin; her daughter Emily Brice and husband Josiah; and her grandchild­ren Matilda and

Henry Klinetob, Julia Lowe, and Evelyn and Eleanor Brice.

She is also survived by her seven siblings: Dr. Albert Roke and his wife Cindi; Dr. Edward Roke and his wife Jean; Larry Roke and his wife Millie; Carl Roke and his wife Carol Ann; Marlene Kluger; Christine Evans and her husband Richard; and Dr. Marie Thomas and her husband Jim, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her brother-in-law Mark Klinetob and her brother-in-law David Kluger.

Services: Noon Wednesday, April 6, 2022 at Bachman, Kulik & Reinsmith Funeral Home, 225 Elm Street, Emmaus, PA. A viewing will be held from 11 a.m. to Noon on Wednesday, in the funeral home. Interment in Fairview Cemetery, Macungie.

Also, to honor Carol's memory the family invites you to take baked goods to a friend or neighbor. Anyone who knew Carol knew that she never showed up in your company without bringing a batch of her delicious chocolate chip cookies or cream cheese cupcakes—desserts that she perfected and shared with everyone she loved. Carol and her fabulous baking will be deeply missed.
