Regina A. Young

Regina A. Young, 83, of Bethlehem, passed away peacefully on Thursday, March 24, 2022, while in the care of St. Luke's Hospice in Lower Saucon Twp. She was the wife of the late Ronald L. Young, who passed away on March 31, 2012. Born in Allentown, she was the daughter of the late Ernest Shiffert and Dorothy (Scheffler) Remaley. Regina was a member of the Whitehall High School class of 1956 and served as class secretary, which she meticulously managed until her recent illness. She graduated from

St. Luke's School of Nursing, Class of 1959 and worked as an RN for many years until retiring and started a new career as a Real Estate Agent for Century 21. Regina was a faithful member of Wesley United Methodist Church in Bethlehem and served as a member of Stephen's Ministries. One of her greatest passions was honoring her family and ancestors with her impressive collection of family treasures.

Survivors: She will be lovingly remembered by her daughters, Victoria Ward and her husband Stephen of Bethlehem Twp. and Leslie Regina Young and her husband Edward Pfeiffer Jr. of Bethlehem; grandchildren, Jamie Bryant, Taylor Young, Geoffrey and Jonathan Hart, Christopher Jr., Sarah and Alex Bowen and Abigayle Ward; sister, Margo Shiffert of VA.; many nieces and nephews. Regina was preceded in death by her son, David K. Young, daughter-in-law, Wendy Roller Young, and her brother, Edward Shiffert. Services: A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, April 9, 2022 at 2:00 P.M. at Wesley United Methodist Church, 2540 Center St. Bethlehem, PA 18017, where the family will receive relatives and friends from 1:00 P.M. until the time of the service.
