Palkovits, 89, of Bethlehem,
PA, formerly of Northampton, PA, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving daughters on Friday, April 22, 2022, in the comfort of her home, with whom she shared with her daughter Donna. She was born on March 27, 1933, in Northampton, PA. She was the beloved daughter of the late George and Emma (Beeler) Moser. Charmaine was a seamstress for Tama Manufacturing formerly of Northampton. She was a faithful and active member of Queenship of Mary Church, also an active member and
pierogi maker of the former St. Michael
The Archangel Catholic Church, both of Northampton. Charmaine was a life member of Coplay Saengerbund. She dedicated many years as a compassionate volunteer at Sacred Heart Hospital, of Allentown. Charmaine loved to travel to Germany, Italy, Ireland, and Bermuda and take bus trips. She was an avid bowler and enjoyed Polkas. Charmaine was very kind and generous; although at times, she was a little stingy with her Jaegermeister. Charmaine loved her Jaeger. But, most importantly she loved her family. She will be deeply missed by daughters, Charmaine Turk and husband Paul of Melbourne, FL, Diane M. Nash of Northampton, Donna Luckenbach and companion Tom Black of Bethlehem, Mary Jane Csencsits and companion Kelly John Holland of Northampton; grandchildren, Janel Dennard and husband Mark,
Paul Turk and wife Tiffany, Joelle McFaddin and husband Neal and Ericka Csencsits; five greatgrandchildren; many nieces and nephews; along with Sasha, her loyal four-legged companion. She was predeceased by her eleven brothers and sisters, and her son-in-law, Les Nash.
Family and friends of Charmaine are invited to a visitation on Wednesday, April 27, 2022, from 9:30-10:30 A.M. at Queenship of Mary Church, 1324 Newport Ave, Northampton, PA 18067. Mass will follow at 10:30 A.M. in the church. Burial will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Charmaine’s memory to “St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital” and mailed to 501 St. Jude Place Memphis, TN 38105, or to “Carmelite Monastery” and mailed to 3551 Lanark Road, Coopersburg, PA 18036.
