A Power Breakfast will be held May 3. Topic is navigating difficult conversati­ons. Registrati­on/ Networking at 7:30 a.m., presentati­on 8-9 am.

Do you find yourself delaying difficult conversati­ons because you don’t know how or where to

begin? Do you try to engage others in dialogue only to end up even more frustrated? In this introducto­ry session we will begin to explore what keeps us from getting into productive dialogue around difficult conversati­ons.

Presenter is Charlene Bergstress­er, program director for the Lehigh Valley Associatio­n of Independen­t Colleges, a consortium. She has a Bachelor of Science, Nursing from West Chester University and a Master of Science in human resource developmen­t

from Drexel University. Additional­ly, she is a certified coach with the Internatio­nal Coaching Federation.

“Negotiatio­n,” a one-credit workshop will be held 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. May 7 and 14. Learn how influence, power and organizati­onal politics are related to effective negotiatio­n. Assess your personal

style of negotiatio­n and influence. Attend on campus or via Zoom. Attendees on campus will have breakfast and lunch provided. Cost is $880.

Knowledge Graphs and Supply Chain Management Optimizati­on will be held 4-5 p.m. May 12 at DeSales University, Conference Center, Commonweal­th Room. Speakers are Kurt Stirewalt, vice president of applicatio­n developmen­t at RelationAI, John Bloys, vice president, engagement at Relational­AI, Jordan

Kunde-Wright, engagement at Relational­AI. Agenda will cover knowledge graph, what and why? and using knowledge graphs for supply chain.

DeSales MBA program will hold a sample class 6 p.m. May 17 at the Center Valley campus. The class will begin with a short presentati­on of the MBA program details. Karen Kent, MBA director will conduct a leadership presentati­on. This 45-minute presentati­on provides a taste of what an MBA class would be like.
