David L. Beers, Sr.

David L. Beers, Sr., 79, passed away unexpectedly at his residence in Lehigh Township on Tuesday, April 26, 2022. He was the beloved husband of the late Pearl L. (Klement) Beers, with whom he shared 48 years of marriage prior to her passing in 2013. Born in Moore Township, he was a son of the late Howard R.

Sr. and Martha O. (Marsh) Beers. He honorably served in the United States Air Force during Vietnam. A 1960 graduate of Northampton High School, David owned and operated a successful construction business in Lehigh Township, Dave Beers & Sons, Inc., for more than 40 years until his retirement. Hardworking and devoted to his family, he cherished the many memories of traveling and vacations with his wife, Pearl. David was a member of Hope Lutheran Church of Cherryville.

Survivors: He is survived by three sons, David L. Beers, Jr. and wife, Lori, of Whitehall, Brian K. Beers of Allentown, and Gregg A. Beers and wife, Susan, of Northampton; six grandchildren, Alex and wife, Amanda, Andy and wife, Julie, Adam, Brittany, Nicole, and Megan; three sisters, Gladys Werley of Bath, Olivia Romanishan and husband, Lewis, of Moore Township, and Ruth Edelman of Chapman Quarries; many nieces and nephews. In addition to his wife, Pearl, he was predeceased by 10 brothers, Dale Sr., Francis, Lester, Daniel Sr., Norman, Walter, Forrest, Howard Jr., Franklin, and Wilson Beers; and two sisters, Esther Beers and Winifred Sheetz.

Services: Private and at the convenience of the family. There will be no calling hours. Arrangements have been entrusted to the GEORGE G.
