Marie Mika Kosman, 84, passed away peacefully on Friday, April 29, 2022 with family at her bedside in Phoenix, Arizona.

Marie was born on January 7, 1938 in Bethlehem, PA to Marie (King) Mika and Frank Mika. Marie was a graduate of Central Catholic High School and Arizona State University (BS in Design Science). Her outgoing personality prepared her well in her varied career choices which included Realtor, owning her own Specialty Advertising company - Kosman and Associates, Flight Attendant, Neighborhood Services Specialist for the cities of Naperville IL and Gilbert AZ, and as a Medical Concierge - assisting people needing health care at a walk-in clinic. She also volunteered for five years at a local hospital. The number of lives she touched is immeasurable.

Marie had many passions and talents. She enjoyed painting, needlework, flower arranging, landscaping, interior design, traveling, going to the beach, and RVing, but mostly she loved being with her family and pups. One of her dreams was to be able to create prosthetics for animals.

Marie married the love of her life, Richard Kosman, and had over 50 wonderful years with him at her side. Together they raised two

daughters, Michele and Colleen.

Marie was preceded in death by Richard (2020) and her younger brother James Mika (2013).

She is survived by her two daughters Michele (Brian) Flanagan and Colleen (Dave) Walters, four grandchildren, Shawn and Erin Flanagan, and Catrina and Deeg Walters, one great-granddaughter Liana, and her beloved pup Koz. Her smile, laughter, kindness, quick wit, and great love for her family will be forever missed. Now she is in the loving arms of Richard and all the pups who have already crossed the rainbow

bridge.

A memorial service followed by internment will be held at Mountain View Lutheran Church on

Saturday, May 21st at 10:00 am.
