Will you speak up for a child who needs you?
Lehigh County Court Appointed Special Advocate volunteers gather information about the circumstances of children who have been removed from their homes because of abuse and/or neglect. CASA volunteers are sworn officers of the court and visit the child, write reports, and advocate for the child’s best interests. Contact Erin Colón, 610-782-3858, CASA@ lehighcounty.org.
Greet visitors during gallery hours and provide information about the featured artist(s) and Nazareth Center for the Arts. Shifts are two-four hours between noon and 4 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays. You are welcome to bring your art, craft, or practice your instrument during your gallery hours. Minimum age 17 with adult. YLEAD is a leadership and service program for Lehigh Valley high school students (entering 10th, 11th or 12th grade in the fall) hosted by Volunteer Center of the Lehigh Valley. Participants in the program develop critical leadership skills while working to support nonprofit organizations through service projects.
