Karline Donecker Mosebach, 83, of Lanark, died May 15,

2022 in the Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Twp. She was the loving wife of Jay L. Mosebach and

mother to Jonathan Mosebach. They were married for 61 years on September 9, 2022. Born in Allentown, she was the daughter of the late Karl Y. Donecker,

a prominent attorney in Allentown and the late Pauline S. (Schaadt) Donecker. Karline was a graduate of the first graduating class of Southern Lehigh High School, where she wrote the words to the Alma Mater to her mother's music. She earned a degree from Wilson College and taught High School English in Chambersbu­rg, PA. Later, she worked as an executive secretary at the University of Delaware for a number of years. Karline was a member of St. John's United Church of Christ, Allentown. At the church, she was involved in many of the church's activities and groups. She was a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution. Karline was an avid seashell collector and attended with her husband and son, many national and internatio­nal Conchology Convention­s. Karline and her family were interested in theater and enjoyed performanc­es from different places. Survivors: Husband: Jay L. Mosebach, Son: Jonathan Mosebach and his wife Tara of Bethlehem and a Sister: Kathleen S. wife of Donald Druckenmil­ler of Allentown.

Services: A private memorial will be held at a later date. Arrangemen­ts by the J. S. Burkholder Funeral Home, Allentown. Condolence­s may be offered at: www.jsburkhold­er.com
