Vilma L. Waltz, 78, of Allentown, passed away on Thursday, May

19, 2022 in Parkland Manor. She and her husband, Donald R. Waltz, shared 56 years of marriage.

Born in Allentown, she was a daughter

of the late John and Hermina (Hasivar) Kosits. Vilma was

a 1962 graduate of Allentown Central Catholic High School.

She started her career as a Nurse's Aide and was later promoted to

Trauma Unit Clerk at the Allentown Sacred

Heart Hospital from the day that it opened

(later becoming Lehigh Valley Hospital – Cedar Crest) until her retirement in 2011. Vilma was a member of St. Paul's R.C. Church in Allentown. She was also an Auxiliary and life-time member of the VFW Post #2124. Vilma loved her family and enjoyed watching General Hospital.

Survivors: Her loving husband, Donald; nieces and nephews, Mark Kramer, Corinna Kramer-Hinks, Suzanne Kramer, Timothy Lutz, Kristen Flinchbaug­h and Jonathan Lutz; great nieces and nephews and many other family members. Vilma was preceded in death by a brother Alfred Kosits and sisters Madeline Lutz and Lillian Kramer.

Services: A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 AM on Saturday, May 28, 2022 in St. Paul's R.C. Church, 920 S. 2nd Street, Allentown. A visitation will be held from 9:30 AM until the

time of the service in the church. Interment will follow at Sacred Heart Cemetery in Fullerton. Arrangemen­ts are entrusted to the K.V. Knopp Funeral Home, Inc., Allentown.
