Kathy Mitstifer, age

63, of Schnecksvi­lle, passed away peacefully in her home on May 20, 2022, after a courageous battle with cancer. Kathy was the wife of Richard Mitstifer, to whom she was married 42 years. Born in Frystown, PA, she was the daughter

of the late Gary and Lillian (Daub) Moyer. She was a graduate of Tulpehocke­n

High School and the Central Penn Business School. After graduating, she started a career in the medical field, and has worked for several orthopedic practices.

She most recently was a dedicated employee of St. Luke's Orthopedic Care, where she selflessly

served patients, surgeons, and staff on a daily basis. She was a member of the Morgenland Church, Orefield, PA. Kathy was an avid reader, gardener, and a great cook. More importantl­y, she ranks high on the list of the world's greatest mothers and grandmothe­rs.

In addition to her husband, Rich, she is survived by sons Gregory and wife Christie, Hershey,

PA; Andrew and wife Rebecca, Brooklyn, NY; grandchild­ren Gavin, Jonah, and Eve Mitstifer. Predecease­d by a sister, Carol (Moyer) Arnold, she is also survived by her brother Keith of Thayer, MO and sister Donna (Moyer) Naftzinger of Shartlesvi­lle, PA.

Her Funeral service will be at 7:00 PM on Thursday, May 26 at Keller Funeral Home, 1018

Church St, Fogelsvill­e. Calling hours will begin at 5:00 PM and last until the service begins. Masks will be required at all times indoors. Interment will take place at 11:00 AM Friday,
