Two shifts per day are available and volunteers get a T-shirt and free piece of pie or ice cream scoop. Partner with activities staff to help assemble and serve strawberry shortcakes to residents May 26
for Gracedale Nursing Home’s annual Strawberry Festival. Volunteers are needed at 1:30-4 p.m. to help scoop individual servings of strawberries onto pound cake slices and top with whipped cream. YLEAD is a leadership and service program for Lehigh Valley high school students
entering 10th, 11th or 12th grade in the fall. It is hosted by Volunteer Center of the Lehigh Valley. Participants in the program develop critical leadership skills while working to support nonprofit organizations through service projects.
