William K. Schaffer, DDS

William K. Schaffer, DDS, 93, of Allentown, passed away on May 16, 2022 in St. Luke's Hospice House, Bethlehem. He was the husband of Alice M. (Morrow) Schaffer. They were married for 71 years last

June. William was a graduate of Temple University School of Dentistry and practiced general dentistry in Allentown for many years until retiring. Born in Allentown, he was the son of the late Morgan and Minnie (Amey) Schaffer. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. William was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Allentown. He was a 32nd Degree Mason at the Jordan Martin Lodge #673, was past president of both the Lehigh County and Lehigh Valley Dental Societies, a member of the Goodfellows Club, and a member of the Buick Club of America (Free Spirit Chapter) and Buick Driving Enthusiasts. He enjoyed tending to his vegetable garden, but most of all he loved spending time with his family and telling stories and jokes.

Survivors: Wife, Alice; Sons: Wayne K. Schaffer and his wife Patricia of Pennsburg and Paul M. Schaffer and his wife Susan of Bethlehem; Sister: Shirley Stavridis of South Carolina; 10 Grandchildren and 11 Great-Grandchildren. A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday June 2nd at 12:30 pm at the First Presbyterian Church of Allentown, 3231 W. Tilghman Street Allentown, PA 18104. Arrangements by the
