Cynthia Ann (Hodson) Gaudreau, 79, of Bethlehem, PA, died on May 30, 2022.

Cynthia, the wife of Raymond L. Gaudreau, who preceded her in death, was born June 11, 1942 in New Bedford, MA. She was also preceded in death by her brother Brian Hodson. She was the daughter of the late Clarence E. Hodson,

Jr. and the late, Alice K. (Maguire) Hodson. Cynthia is survived by 3 step children, Steven, Debra Vickery (David) of Hempstead, MD, and Lee (Colleen) of Bethlehem, PA; two nephews, Kevin (Nanci) of Marlboroug­h, MA, and Stephen (Danieela) of Bath, ME and niece, Jennifer of Stockbridg­e, MA; 8 grandchild­ren; 4 great grandchild­ren; a great niece; and great nephew. Cynthia was a graduate of Holy Family High School, New Bedford, MA; St. Ann's Hospital School of Nursing, Fall River, MA; Northeaste­rn University, and Boston College. A registered nurse for 45 years, she worked as a women's

health nurse practition­er for 30 years, mostly in the Boston area until she married her husband, Ray, and then practiced in the Washington, DC area.

As well as being a lifelong fan of the NE Patriots and the Boston Red Sox, she was an avid skier, bridge player, book club member, and a fledgling golfer. Cynthia and her husband traveled extensivel­y and enjoyed entertaini­ng frequently. She was a communican­t of Notre Dame of Bethlehem Parish.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10 a.m. on Saturday, June 11, 2022 at Notre Dame

of Bethlehem Catholic Church, 1861 Catasauqua Rd. Bethlehem, PA 18018. Cynthia will be privately laid to rest with her husband in Arlington National Cemetery.
