81 years of age and resident of Whitehall, passed away on

August 3, 2023 in St. Luke's Hospice House from complicati­ons of dementia. She was the wife of Ronald G. Reaman, and observed their 61st anniversar­y in July. Born in Allentown, she was the 7th of 8 children born to the late Charles and Anastasia (Schwoyer) Deutsch. A graduate of Central Catholic High School, Dolores continued her education at Lehigh County Community College and Penn State University—Lehigh Valley campus for paralegal studies and accounting. During her career, she worked for Whitehall Township in the treasurer's office as well as the police department in various capacities. Previously, she held administra­tive posts for Lehigh County district justices. As a lifelong Democrat, she was an officer of the Teamsters Union and also volunteere­d on numerous political campaigns. She was happy to share the same birthday as Hillary Clinton, and told her so during a meeting with Clinton. She proudly attended John F. Kennedy's campaign visit to Allentown, only to later drive to D.C. to attend his funeral. She was always an advocate for women's rights, people in need, and all underserve­d communitie­s. She welcomed many people into her home who needed one. Her passions included genealogy, reading, and fishing. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchild­ren and regularly traveling to Mexico with her husband. A member of St. John's Lutheran Church in Fullerton, she served on the altar guild. She previously was a Sunday School teacher at St. John's Lutheran Church in Allentown for many years. Along with other volunteer work including the Boy Scouts and as a teacher's aide, Dolores served hundreds of families as the treasurer and secretary for the Fullerton Memorial Playground Athletic Associatio­n. Survivors: Husband; four children: sons, Ronald Jr. and Josh of Allentown, Jon at home; daughter, Denise Reaman, wife of Mark Wiragh of Lower Macungie Township; grandchild­ren: Andrew Reaman, Aiden Polce, Grace Wiragh, Kendall Wiragh, Kyle Reaman, Callie Reaman; great-grandchild: Braelyn Reaman. She was predecease­d by her parents and beloved siblings Mildred Auman, Anna Snyder, Charles Deutsch, Bernice Smith, Mary Wingert, Donald Deutsch, and Claudia Watson.

Services officiated by Rev. Dr. Lynnette Delbridge will be 11:00 am Wednesday August 9, 2023 in Saint John's Ev. Lutheran Church 835 Third St. Whitehall, PA 18052, where her family will receive guests beginning at 10:00 am. Interment will be private.
