The organization needs strong individuals who can remove a pickup truck sized load of junk and clutter from homes (odds and ends, bags of clothes, some furniture pieces) and haul it away. The Great Allentown Fair is coming up and Civic Theatre of Allentown would like to utilize community members to help the organization fundraise by directing people where to park their cars. Summer lesson programs at Equi-librium in Nazareth, are in full swing.
The group would love to have you join the volunteer team to assist with a weekly lesson (Monday-Saturdays) or assist with summer camps. The Easton Urban Farm serves disadvantaged neighborhoods throughout the city by supplying food pantries with fresh, organically grown produce in the summer season. The Easton Neighborhood Center needs volunteers to commit to a threehour shift on the farm once a week starting Aug. 15 through September to harvest produce 8-11 a.m. on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, or Saturdays.
