KU to host Law Enforcement and Treatment Initiative
Kutztown University will collaborate with the Law Enforcement and Treatment Initiative to host a training session aimed at fostering a stronger connection between law enforcement and substance use treatment providers. The event is scheduled 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Oct. 4 at 250 McFarland Student Union, and is open to law enforcement professionals and students.

Kutztown University, recognizing the importance of this program and the potential benefits for the region, eagerly steps forward to host this educational event. The training will cover a range of essential modules: Module I: Understanding Addiction Module II: Understanding Trauma Module III: Impact of Stigma Module IV: Prevention and Intervention Module V: Understanding Treatment Module VI: Practical Skills Law enforcement professionals, students and all interested parties are encouraged to attend this event, gain valuable insights and contribute to building safer and more supportive communities.
