Members of the Lehigh Valley Planning Commission’s Comprehensive Planning Committee had a few concerns about a project proposed for the 900 block of Hamilton Street in downtown Allentown. Chairperson Stephen Melnick and others wondered Tuesday how residents and local businesses would be able to afford potentially higher rents in the proposed mixed-use development at 960, 962 and 966 Hamilton and how it would affect parking in that part of the city.
