Project Blueprint accepting registration
The Volunteer Center of the Lehigh Valley is accepting registration for Project Blueprint, a leadership development program with the goal of increasing the number of diverse volunteers providing leadership for the boards of Lehigh Valley nonprofit agencies. Project Blueprint will be held virtually 5:15-7 p.m. Wednesdays March 6 through April 10. The final session on April 24 will be in-person. Over the course of the program, they will be having topic matter experts and will also be hosting networking and connecting sessions with a group of nonprofit organizations. Nonprofit organizations that are invited to attend represent organizations participants have identified, their sponsors have identified or the Volunteer Center has identified. It will be a diverse group of organization types and needs.
The schedule is:
Session One: March 6, presented by Karen Smith, Volunteer Center of the LV.
Session Two: March 13, Understanding Nonprofit Legal Factors presented by Fitzpatrick Lentz & Bubba, P.C. & Nonprofit Networking.
Session Three: March 20, Meet the Nonprofits Networking Session Program participants will meet and have networking time to get to know the nonprofits.
Session Four: March 27, Nonprofit Finances & Participant Networking presented by CLA Understanding Nonprofit Finances & Reporting
Session Five: April 3, Understanding DEI and the Board Understanding Diversity, Equity & Inclusion in Nonprofits.
Session Six: April 10, Fundraising Panel Discussion The Board’s Role in Philanthropic Fundraising.
Session Seven: April 24, facilitated by Karen Smith, in person.
