Are you considering joining or currently serving on a nonprofit board and want to become a more informed participant? Volunteer Center of the Lehigh Valley is offering LEAD Now; a five-part leadership training program that provides relevant guidance on nonprofit board service. The kickoff day for work and orientation of new volunteers will be held at 9 a.m. March

Be a Hero for people with Down Syndrome and volunteer at the 3.21 Run on March 30 at Lehigh Valley Parkway – LVRR Clubhouse, Allentown. Hosted by Eastern PA Down Syndrome Center, various volunteer positions are available from 8 a.m. to noon, including setup, registration, water station, course marshals and sweepers, and more. Lehigh Valley Auto Dealers Association is seeking community volunteers to staff the 2024 Lehigh Valley Auto Show for five-hour shifts. The show is scheduled March 21 through March 24 at Stabler Athletic & Convocation Center.

Marvine Elementary in Bethlehem receives a food donation every Friday to distribute to the community. Help is needed to organize and monitor the food when the community begins to take the items, a watcher for the quantities taken in, sign-up list and break down boxes. Be My Neighbor Day is back and will be at the Bethlehem Area Public Library. Join PBS39 & 91.3 WLVR March 23 for a day of fun with performances from Lolly Hopwood, visits from Bethlehem’s Civic Leaders, storytimes and craft activities. There will also be a Daniel Tiger meet and greet. Volunteers are needed for set up prior to the event and with crafts, chaperone rooms for safety and table the day of the event. As an adult education tutor, you will work
1:1 or in small groups with GED or English as a Second Language (ESL) students at ProJeCt of Easton’s Fowler Literacy Center. You will support classroom teachers and empower students in their educational journey. Shifts available are
