James C. Freeman,

85, currently residing at Country Meadows of Allentown passed away Thursday, March 14, 2024 at Lehigh Valley Hospital –

Cedar Crest. He was the husband of Elaine (Fleck) Freeman to whom he had been married 47 years.

Born in Easton,

August 16, 1938,

James was the son of the late Elwood and Irene (Underwood) Freeman. He was a graduate of Bangor High School and attended Lehigh University. He was employed as the Director of Manufactur­ing at Philadelph­ia Quartz Company, formerly Potters Industries and prior to that worked at ALPO in South Whitehall Township. James was a member of St. Joseph the Worker Roman Catholic Church, Orefield. He held a private pilot's license and was a founding member of SWPC. Survivors: In addition to his loving wife, Elaine; children, Eric Freeman (Debra) of Virginia, Kristen Attinella (Michael) of Florida, Stacey McCann of Tennessee; stepdaught­er, Deborah Schnabel (Michael) of Breinigsvi­lle; brother, Richard Freeman (Ruth) of Pen Argyl; five grandchild­ren; eleven great-grandchild­ren.

Service: A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10:30 am. Thursday, March 21, 2024, at St. Thomas More Roman Catholic Church, 1040 Flexer Avenue, Allentown. Family and friends may pay their respects from 9:30 am. – 10:20 am. Thursday in the church. Interment will follow the Mass at Resurrecti­on Cemetery, Wescosvill­e.
