Mary L. Wingert

Mary L. Wingert, 85, formerly of Allentown, passed away February 6, 2019 at Cedarbrook , Fountain Hill Annex. She was the widow of Richard W. Wingert, who passed away in 2012. Born in Allentown, she was a daughter of the late Charles and Anastasia (Schwoyer) Deutsch. Mary was a waitress at Hess’ Patio for 35 years until retiring. She was a member of Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church. Mary was a graduate of Central Catholic High School.

Survivors: Children, Maryann Dashner and her husband Jim, Richard Wingert, Lorraine McKellin, Janet Carson, Susan Petrie and her husband Leonard and Carl Wingert and his wife Triny; Siblings, Anna Snyder, Charles Deutsch, Bernice Smith, Dolores Reaman, Donald Deutsch and Claudia Watson; 11 Grandchildren and 9 Great Grandchildren. She was predeceased by a Sister, Mildred Auman.

Services: A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will take place 11AM Wed., Feb. 13th at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 501 Ridge Ave, Allentown. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park. A time to greet the family will be held 10-11AM Wed. at the church. Arrangements entrusted to Bachman, Kulik & Reinsmith Funeral Home, Allentown.
