Paul F. Ruch, 92 years, of Maxatawny, died Tuesday, February 5, 2019 at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Twp. He was the widower of Alma M. (Tressler) Ruch. Born in Breinigsvi­lle, he was a son of the late Ralph and Hilda (Smith) Ruch. He was a machinist and truck driver for the former Lehigh Portland Cement Co., Fogelsvill­e, and a machinist at the former Tyler Pipe Co., Macungie retiring in 1992. Paul was a member of the Breinigsvi­lle VFW Post #8282, the Topton American Legion, the Kutztown Fire Co., and the Grundsow Lodge #15. He honorably and faithfully served his country in the United States Army during WWII. Paul was a member of Ziegels Lutheran Church in Breinigsvi­lle, where he served as past President of Church Council and past President of the Cemetery Assoc. He was also in charge of the day to day operations of the cemetery at Ziegel’s for many years. Survivors: son, Wayne P. Ruch and wife Aldeena of Wernersvil­le, daughter, Susan J. Bard and husband Terrence of Mertztown, brothers, Sterling Peter of Topton, Ray Peter and wife Susan of Kutztown, and Forrest Peter of Allentown; sister Annabelle Koplin and husband Maynard of Topton, grandchild­ren, Jason Ruch and Jennifer Hurter and husband John, 1 great grandson; several nieces and nephews. He was predecease­d by a brother, John Peter.

Service: 11:00 A.M., Monday, February 11, at Ziegels Union Church, 9990 Ziegels Church Rd., Breinigsvi­lle with the Rev. Andrew Meckstroth officiatin­g.

Visitation will be from 10:00 to 11:00 A.M. in the

Church. Interment, Church Cemetery. Arrangemen­ts by Keller Funeral Homes, Inc., Fogelsvill­e. Online condolence­s may be offered to the family at www. KellerFune­ralHomes.com.
