Bangor’s Main Street Market is open again

- By Christina Tatu

The Main Street Market in Bangor, which left local residents without a grocery store when it closed suddenly in August, opened under new management Thursday.

The market will be managed by Nichole and Duane Smith, a veteran of the grocery industry and founding partner of the Main Street Market nearly 25 years ago.

Duane Smith said the market will provide many of the same products customers have come to expect over the past 25 years, including fresh fruit and produce.

Hours will be Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m., Saturday from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Sunday from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.
