Ex-Palisades teacher took upskirt photos of 3 students
A former Palisades High School math teacher and tennis coach pleaded guilty Tuesday to surreptitiously taking photos under the skirts of three students and posting them online.
Francis Reppert, 27, of Quakertown will be sentenced in about 90 days and could face more than five years in prison. He pleaded guilty before Bucks County Judge Raymond F. McHugh to indecent exposure, a misdemeanor, and two counts of invasion of privacy.
Reppert will be a registered sex offender under Megan’s Law for 15 years.
State police in January charged Reppert after receiving a complaint Oct. 1, 2019. According to an arrest affidavit, a female student at the high school received messages from a classmate who said he videotaped Reppert holding a tablet computer beneath a desk as he faced the girl, apparently taking photos up her skirt.
Reppert was interviewed by a state trooper the next day and confessed, prosecutors say. On his electronic devices, police found “upskirt” photos of three girls and pictures of Reppert exposing himself in a classroom, prosecutors said.
Reppert tagged one of the photos “teachers gone wild,” court records say.
Reppert was hired in August 2016 to teach math, and also coached boys and girls tennis at the high school. He was placed on administrative leave whenthe investigation began and fired a short time later.
Reppert remains free on $500,000 bail. His attorney, Matthew Sedacca, declined to comment after the hearing.
