Stolen well-digging truck may be in area
In the annals of vehicle theft, few perpetrators have chosen a more conspicuous vehicle.
State police have asked the public to be on the lookout for a big, green well-drilling truck stolen Sunday from the Holt Drilling Co. parking lot in Washington Township, Jefferson County.
The 2012 Mack vehicle was last seen three hours after the theft eastbound on Interstate 80 in Columbia County.
Trooper Nathan Branosky tweeted Friday morning that the
rig “may be in the Lehigh Valley.”
Police released surveillance photos taken in a convenience store of a person they say took the truck.
They ask anyone with information to call state police at DuBois at 814-371-4652.
