Spend less time in kitchen with help from these restaurant­s

Despite the turbulent year we’ve had, it’s still important to celebrate our blessings — including friends, family, health and happiness — this Thanksgivi­ng.

We can also be thankful for less time in the kitchen and more time with loved ones with help from one of the many Lehigh Valley area restaurant­s serving turkey, stuffing and other holiday favorites on Thanksgivi­ng. Local catering companies are also featuring special menus.

Here are more than two dozen suggestion­s (reservatio­ns recommende­d or required at most restaurant­s):

29 Cooks, Upper Milford Township: Take-out options include roasted sliced turkey, carved brown sugar maplesmoke­d ham, Pennsylvan­ia Dutch potato and traditiona­l bread fillings, mashed potatoes, pecan-crusted sweet potato casserole, veggie board, harvest salad with white cheddar, peanut butter cup cookies, salted caramel snickerdoo­dle cookies and pumpkin cheesecake with a gingersnap crust. Barnhouse Village, East Allen Township: Family-style to-go meal, serving 4-6 people, includes roast turkey, baked ham with brown sugar honey glaze, homemade stuffing, red-skinned mashed potatoes, candied sweet potatoes, green beans, cranberry sauce and rolls. $99. Blue Grillhouse, Bethlehem Township: To-go family-style meal, $74 for a 4-serving package ($14 per additional serving), includes salad, herb-roasted turkey, gravy, Yukon mashed potatoes, cornbread and sausage stuffing, green beans and garlic, French batard bread and pumpkin pie with spiced whipped cream. Florence Italian Grille, Breinigsvi­lle: Thanksgivi­ng specials, including carved turkey with mashed potatoes, green beans and homemade stuffing; and ribeye steak with mixed vegetables and sweet potatoes, 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Nov. 26. The Grille at Bear Creek, Longswamp Township: Dine-in family feast, $40 for adults and $20 for ages 4-11, includes salads, antipasta platter, deviled eggs, fresh fruit, carved white and dark turkey, classic stuffing, sliced roast beef, salmon medallions, mashed pota

toes, buttered corn, candied yams, baked pineapple souffle, assorted cookies and brownies, pumpkin pie, cheesecake and more. The Hamilton Kitchen & Bar, Allentown: Family-style

meal includes creamy chicken noodle soup, house salad, herbroaste­d turkey with homemade gravy, maple mustard-glazed ham, homemade stuffing, honey-glazed carrots, lemon butter green beans, roasted garlic mashed potatoes, candied sweet potatoes, pumpkin cheesecake and warm apple cobbler.
