Eyer Middle School closed until Dec. 11

Eyer Middle School is closed through mid-December after district officials reported the fourth coronavirus case associated with the school this month.

Students will begin remote learning on Nov. 20 and continue through Dec. 11.

The East Penn School District this week announced all schools would be closed after Thanksgiving break and reopen on Dec. 14. In an email to the community, Superintendent Kristen Campbell said the pre-preemptive closure was intended to avoid a surge in coronavirus community transmission and to ensure that in-person learning remains an option.
