The Morning Call

ANIMALS IN DISTRESS Clara

-

Clara and her little brother came to us in horrible condition. They were only days old, infested with fleas, maggots crawling all over them, dehydrated and listless. They were rushed to an emergency animal hospital where they spent three weeks. Unfortunately Clara’s sibling did not make it. Clara was on fluids and round-the-clock care. After hospitalization she stabilized and was taken into a foster home for specialized care.

More about Clara: Clara is now about 2 years old. She is very sweet and affectionate and loves playing with her toys. She will sometimes give little love bites, so she should go into a home with older children. Contact: Animals In Distress, 610-966-9383, ext. 8; animalsindistresspa.org.
