CROSSROADS SPRING COURSES at Moravian Theological Seminary.

“Unpacking the Scriptures,” a preaching course, led by the Rev. Sue Pizor Yoder, will be held Monday evenings March 8 to May 3. Participants will be introduced to a wide variety of preaching styles, sermon construction and some basic public speaking skills.

”Compass” will be held Thursday evening March 11- May 6 and co-taught by Jill Peters and the Rev. Linda Wisser. Compass has a twofold purpose. First we build and refine basic communication skills needed for congregational leadership: researching, writing, and speaking. Then we use those skills to help hone each participant’s sense of call.

LISA SHARON HARPER, speaker, writer and activist will be the guest speaker at the 27th annual Robert K. Campbell Memorial Lecture on Christian Unity at 7 p.m March 18. A Community Response will be held at 10 a.m. March 19 where community leaders will express their thoughts on her presentation. Both events will be via Zoom.
