Parkland, Stroudsburg and Nazareth players earn MVP honors
Lindsay Berger, Emily Strunk and Talya Brugler all receive special accolades
The much-delayed, much-interrupted 2020-21 high school girls basketball season couldn’t stop 30 young ladies from the Eastern Pennsylvania Conference from showing this winter what they can do.
Those 30 have been recognized as EPC all-stars, and Parkland’s Lindsay Berger, Nazareth’s Talya Brugler and Stroudsburg’s Emily Strunk have been chosen division MVPs.
Berger, who is committed to Holy Cross, and Brugler, who is headed to Saint Joseph’s, met in Thursday night’s District 11 6A championship game at PPL Center.
Two EPC members earned district gold earlier this week as Bethlehem Catholic won the 5A crown and Central Catholic took the 4A title.
