Grace M. (Braisted) Bodine

Grace Marie Bodine, 87, of Merrimack, NH, went home into the loving arms of her Savior on Friday, March 12, 2021. She was the wife of the late David L. Bodine. Born to Stella M. Walker and Walter William Braisted in Norwich, New York, Grace is survived by her children Mark Bodine, Sharon Bodine Tannenbaum, Lisa McCarthy and Wendy Somers, as well as numerous grandchildren, greatgrandchildren, nephews and nieces.

Grace was a loving and devoted wife and mother, but had struggled in recent years with neurologic disabilities, while retaining much of her dry humor, inimitable wit, and keen intellect. Her assiduous work ethic, tenacity and devotion to her family was a shining example to all who knew her. She leaves us a treasured legacy of artistic endeavors from music to quilting, to gardening and canning. Her career at Dorney Printing was a great inspiration to her children, at a time when women in high positions were not commonplace. She reluctantly accepted her promotions, and was highly valued for her kindness, wisdom, and diligence, but always retained her modest humility.

She attended the Community Chapel Church of the Nazarene in Nashua. Our hearts are saddened by her passing, but comforted in knowing that she is at peace.
