Robert Proctor, 66, of Allentown, passed away peacefully March 7, 2021 quietly at home surrounded by loved ones. Born in Trenton, NJ, he was the son of the late Robert Proctor, Sr. and Ester Vereen. Robert served in the U.S. Army and later in life he graduated from Lincoln University with a Masters degree in Human Services. His life was positively impacted when he discovered an anonymous program, which brought him closer to God. The program changed his life in such a remarkable way that it became his passion. Robert was dedicated and committed to helping others the way the program helped him. He often said that he was in the business of saving lives. He began his career at the Keenan House in Allentown, PA. He later worked at the Penn Foundation in Quakertown, PA and a Veteran's Program in Kentucky before ending his career at Pyramid in Pittsburgh, PA. Over the years he held positions as a DNA Counselor, Supervisor and Manager. Robert acquired CACD and CRS certificat­ions. Additional­ly, he was a Notary and a Toastmaste­r to name a few. He is survived by his wife Deneen Proctor; Sons Robert Proctor, Tyrone Davis, Johnathan Proctor, Donald Langley, Steven Langley, and Roman Proctor; Daughters Damikia Jones, and Lakeysha Yamro, as well as a host of grandchild­ren, nieces and nephews. He also is survived by his sisters Ester, Roeshell, Carolyn, Bernice and Elizabeth, and brothers: Aaron, David and Willie.
