Clyde S. Heisler, 85 formerly of Northampto­n - MooreTwsp., PA. died on Monday, October 4, 2021, at Above & Beyond at the

Knights in Allentown, PA. Born December 7, 1935 in Pottsville, PA, he was the son of the late Samuel J.

Heisler and the late Vedda V. (Cresswell) Heisler. He was the husband of the late Delores H. (Dettmer) Heisler who died in 2015, and the late Ruth (Houser) Delp-Heisler who died April of this year.

Clyde was the former owner of the former Bath Hardware, Bath, PA for 32 years before retiring in 1989. He worked for Hilltop Excavating for 12 years, was a bus driver for the former Laidlaw / First Student for 10 years along with owning and operating Heisler's Battery outlet from his home for over 22 years. Clyde was a long time member of Bethany Wesleyan Church and a Board member for 39 years, and he sat on the Board of Trustees for many years. A former member of the Joint School Board of Northampto­n Area School District, A

member of the Gideon's Ministry Internatio­nal and was Past President for 36 years. Member of the Yoke Fella Prison Ministry and Chairman of the N.E. District for 15 years. Clyde is also noted for starting the Northampto­n CO. Prison Ministry.

He is survived by his three sons, Darrell Heisler and

wife Sheree of Matthews, NC, Ronald Heisler and wife Melanie of Northampto­n, PA, and Barry Heisler and wife Cathryn of Whitehall, PA, two daughters, Debra

wife of William Jones of Walnutport, PA and Kathleen wife of David Dieter of Northampto­n, PA, brothers, Glenn Heisler of Cressona, PA, Wendel Heisler and wife Beverly of Tamaqua, PA and Adam Heisler of

New Ringgold, PA; 11 Grandchild­ren; 16 Great Grandchild­ren, and a Great-Great-Grandson. He was predecease­d by a grandson Landon.

A Funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday October 11, 2021 at Bethany Wesleyan Church, 675 Blue

Mt. Drive, Cherryvill­e, PA. 18035. The family will receive friends from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM prior to the services. Interment will follow in Green Mount Cemetery, Bath, PA.
