John M. Sosik, 59 of Laurys

Station, PA, passed away on Tuesday, October 5, 2021, at his residence.

Born August 21, 1962 in New Brunswick, NJ., he was the son of the late Edward Sosik, Sr. and the late Rose (Seabright) Sosik. He was the husband of Janice M. (Mecca) Sosik with whom he shared 38 years of marriage last

December 17, 2020.

John was a graduate of Penn State University earning his Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering. He was last employed in the Engineering Departrment

for Synchronoss Technologies, Inc., Bridgewater, NJ. for the past 6 years. Prior to he worked for LSI, Allentown as an Engineer for 30 Years. He was a former soccer coach for the Schnecksville Playground Assoc.

Surviving along with his wife Janice are son, Joseph J. Sosik and wife Victoria of Maplewood, NJ, daughter, Allyson M. Sosik and fiancé Kyle Kremposky of New Tripoli, PA, Three Granddaughters: Addison, Avery, and Emma, brothers, Edward Sosik, Jr. of Moscow, PA, Peter Sosik and wife Judy of Harrisburg, PA and Paul Sosik and wife Virginia of Dunmore, PA; Sis-in-law, Grace

Sosik of Orefield, PA, He was predeceased by brother, Scott Sosik in 1999.

A Funeral service will be at 12:30 PM on Wednesday October 13, 2021at Schisler Funeral Home, 2119 Washington Ave. Northampton, PA.18067 with the Rev. Msgr. Daniel J. Yenushosky officiating. The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM to 12:30 AM prior to the services. Interment will follow in Towamensing Cemetery, Palmerton, PA.
