Matthew Richard Schneider

Matthew Richard Schneider, 42, of Allentown, passed away Thursday, September 30, 2021 at St. Luke’s Hospital, Allentown. He was the loving husband of Sabrina (Sandt) Schneider, with whom he shared 18 years of marriage. Born in Woodhaven, NY, he was the son of Richard and Mary (Wichern) Schneider. He received an AA from LCCC and attended NCACC, where he played

baseball. He worked as a Logistics Administrator for Behr Process Corp. He was of the Lutheran Faith. Matthew was a baseball and basketball youth coach for various teams in the area and mostly will be remembered as an avid fan of Duke Basketball and the Atlanta Braves.

Survivors: wife Sabrina, parents; he was a loving and best dad ever to his children Aaron Matthew, Aydan Matthew and Kaitlyn Amanda at home; father in law Jeffrey Sandt and mother in law Nancy Tindall and her husband Walter; sisters Kristen Melusky and her husband Frank of Pottsville, Elizabeth Schneider, Emily Schneider and Madalyn Schneider, all of Allentown; brothers in law Scott Sandt and his wife Stefanie and

Tyler Sandt; loving niece Starr Sandt. He was predeceased by a sister Elaine (1987), paternal grandparents

William and Cecelia (Fells) Schneider, maternal grandparents Christian and Ruth (McMahon) Wichern.
