Philip Max Schiebel, 82, of West Penn Township, passed away October

19, 2021 in his home, surrounded by his family. He was the husband of the late Catherine M. (Moyer) Schiebel. Born August

20, 1939 in Hanover, York County, Philip was the son of the late Rev. Robert C. Schiebel and Mary Louise (Sponseller) Schiebel. He was employed as a Production Technician at Mack Trucks, Inc., in

Macungie for 30 years before retiring in 1996. A 32nd degree Mason, Philip

was a member of the Tamaqua/Mahoney City Masonic Lodge # 238 and a former member of the Trexlertow­n Masonic Lodge #326. Additional­ly, he was a member of the Rajah Shrine, Reading, Lehigh Consistory – Valley of Allentown, Schuylkill Shrine Club, Slatington Chapter #292, and West Penn Lions Club. He founded Country Grass, a Blue Grass band where he was a guitarist and vocalist. Philip was of the Lutheran faith.

Survivors: Son, Philip David Schiebel and his wife, Patricia of Orefield, sister, Elizabeth Louise Ramadass of Mitchellvi­lle, MD; grandchild­ren, Thomas, Nicole, and Philip; great grandchild­ren, Ava, Annika, and Liam; beloved dog, Max; predecease­d by daughter, Debra Ann Schiebel.

Service: A funeral service will be held 2:00 p.m. Saturday, October 23, 2021 in the Heintzelma­n Funeral Home, Inc., 4906 Route 309 Schnecksvi­lle. Family and friends may pay their respects from 12:00 noon – 1:45 p.m. Saturday in the funeral home. Masonic service at 1:45 pm. Online expression­s of sympathy may be recorded at www.heintzelma­ncares.com.
