Gail Marie Summers (Seibert), beloved mother, sister, aunt, and daughter, passed away suddenly on Sunday, October 24th, 2021. She was 57.

Gail was born on March 8th, 1964 in Whitehall, Pennsylvania to William and Patricia Seibert. Growing up, her family was involved with the Fullerton Ramblers Football team while her father coached and her brothers played on the field. She found a love for being a cheerleader and she followed this love throughout high school. She graduated from Whitehall High School in 1982 and from there, started working at Red Lobster. Gail loved everything about her work and met a majority of her life-long friends during that time. She was then promoted to manager and in 1989, Gail moved to Philadelphia and continued her management there. It was in Philadelphia where Gail met Tom Summers, and they would go on to eventually have two wonderful children together, Jennifer and Tommy.

They lived on Plane Road for many years where Gail truly called home. From the block parties, pool parties, and Desperate Housewives nights, their neighbors became more like family. Gail loved hosting all the family get-togethers where she was able to feed people, especially with her famous stuffing.

Gail was a huge Eagles fan, an avid dog lover, and had an overabundant passion for 80’s hair rock and roll, often having Bon Jovi playing on her stereo. Anyone who knew Gail knew how much she loved the band Magnum, compiled of her close friends. If they were performing, Gail was always there.

Gail was always known to be a very welcoming, generous, and selfless person to everyone around her, and most of her children’s friends referred to Gail as their second mom, attributing to her caring and loving nature. She always loved spending time with her family, especially during the holidays. Gail loved when everyone was together, and she was known to have a special place in her heart for her five nephews.

Gail is survived by her daughter Jennifer, her son Tommy, mother Patricia, brothers Michael (Samantha) and Billy (Crystal), nephews Ryan, Nathan, Gage, Harrison, and Chase, and many cousins, aunts, uncles,

and extended family members, including Jolane,

Lori, and Joey. She is preceded in death by her father William, grandmother Emma, grandfather Joseph, brother-in-law Sammie, and mother-in-law Josephine. Also left to mourn are some special people - Tom, Michele, Jimmy, Joe, Mark, Andrea, Nichole, Paul, Nick,

Brooke, and Tim.

Family and friends are invited to Gail’s Memorial Service on Saturday, November 6th at 12pm. Edward J. Petner Funeral Home, 6421 Frankford Ave, Philadelphia Pennsylvania 19135. A celebration of Gail’s life will follow in the upcoming weeks in the Allentown area.
