Diane W. (Wert) Washburn

Diane W. Washburn, 84, of Salisbury Twp., died Sunday, November 7, at her residence. She is the wife of the late Irvin C. “Moon” Washburn, who died July 28, 2014. She was born in Allentown on June 25, 1937 to the late Charles Augustus and Dorothy Charlotte (Goedecke) Wert. Diane worked for the former K-Mart in Mountainville and for Unami Fish & Game, Emmaus. She volunteered many years for Good Shepherd Home - Raker Center, Allentown and was a chaperone for the Salisbury High School color guard. SURVIVORS: Children: Michael D. (Beth Minger) of Champion, Twp., OH, Andy J (Diane L.) of Center Valley, Donna J. (John F.) Miller of Salisbury Twp., Lori L. (Brian G.) Pritchard of Salisbury Twp.; sister: Bonita Brong of Whitehall; half-sister: Joyce Viola of West Palm Beach, FL, grandchildren: Stacy (Kris) Reiss, Nicole (Brett) Shook, Tyler (Kaitlin) Washburn, Kyle (Valentina) Miller, Troy (Aubrey) Miller, Dalton Pritchard; great grandchildren: Hailey & Barrett Reiss, Zachary & Nathan Shook, Hudson & Barrett Miller. Predeceased by grandson Benjamin Washburn; siblings: Jean Salvatore, James & Richard Wert.

SERVICE: Family and friends are invited to call 9-10 a.m. Saturday, November 13, 2021 at the Heintzelman Funeral Home, Inc. 326 Main Street – Hellertown followed by the service at 10 a.m. The interment will conclude services at the Cedar Hill Memorial Park, Allentown.
