Myron P. McRobbie, 88, of Bethlehem, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, December 1, 2021 while in the care of St. Luke’s Hospice House. He was the devoted husband of Marlene (Shue) McRobbie, with whom he shared over 63 years of loving marriage. Born in Bayonne, NJ, he was the son of the late William and Jessie (Myren) McRobbie. Myron was a graduate of Bayonne High School. He honorably served his country in the United States Army during the Korean War. Myron was employed by Lucent, AT&T, Western Electric as an inspector for over 28 years until retiring in 1982. He was an active member of the Christian Service Brigade, the Telephone Pioneers and the Autumn Club at the Bethlehem Township Community Center. Myron was young at heart and would always put his family, friends and anyone he knew before himself. SURVIVORS: In addition to his loving wife Marlene, he will be remembered by his daughter Michele Ann Simone of South Whitehall; sons William McRobbie of Conway, SC and David P. McRobbie of Bethlehem; grandchild­ren Steven, Danielle, Samantha, Nicholas and Becca-lyn and great grandchild­ren Isabella and Joseph. He was preceded in death by his siblings William McRobbie, Frank McRobbie and Wilhelmina Lewis. SERVICES: A Funeral Service will be held at 11 A.M. on Monday December 6, 2021 at the Cantelmi Long Funeral Home, 500 Linden Street, Bethlehem, PA 18018 where the family will receive relatives and friends from 10 A.M. until time of the service. Burial will follow at Nisky Hill Cemetery. A memory tribute may be placed at www. cantelmifu­neralhome.com.
