HUFF’S UNION CHURCH, 540 Conrad Road, Hereford Township, will hold worship services at 8 and 10:30 a.m. Sundays in the sanctuary. The adult Sunday School meets at 9:15 a.m. and the children’s Sunday School meets during the 10:30 a.m. service. In all buildings on campus, face masks are optional for everyone who is fully vaccinated but will still be required for everyone else. Outdoor activities will not require masks. TAMAQUA COMMUNITY ADVENT SERVICE. The Tamaqua Area Faith Fellowship Network and Tamaqua Ministerial Association are sponsoring a Community Advent Service 10 a.m. Dec. 11 at St. John XXIII Roman Catholic Church, 307 Pine St., Tamaqua.
The service includes music, message and a candling lighting ceremony, is open to the public and will be livestreamed on St. John XXIII’s website and Facebook page.
62ND ANNUAL PEACE PILGRIMAGE from Nazareth to Bethlehem will be held Dec. 11. A short closing gathering will be held at the end of the walk Christ Church UCC, Market Street, Bethlehem. No supper will be held this year. Buses will be available at 10:45 a.m. to transport walkers from Bethlehem to Nazareth. INDOOR SPIRAL ADVENT WALK will be held 5-7 p.m. Dec. 11 at First Presbyterian Church, 2344 Center St., Bethlehem.
