Larry P. Mouer, 81, of

Allen Township, passed away peacefully on Thursday, January 20,

2022 surrounded by his

family. Born on February 23, 1940, in Allentown, he was a son of the late Lester and Dorothy (Petry) Mouer. Larry and his wife, Catherine (Kucharczuk), celebrated 58 years of marriage together. He was a graduate of Allen High School. Larry started his career in the composing room at Bethlehem

Globe and retired as a supervisor for the Morning

Call after 40 years. In addition, he was a partner of K

& M Properties and later the president and owner of Yesteryear Properties. He served as vice president of Yesteryear Collectibl­es. He was a member of St. Peter Roman Catholic Church in Coplay, where he served with the Holy Name Society. He also was a member of the Historic Catasauqua Preservati­on Associatio­n and the Central Catholic Class of 1959 Reunion Committee for several years. Larry and his wife, Catherine, volunteere­d with VIABL, where they were awarded Volunteers of the Year in 2005. Larry was an avid Disney fan. Survivors: In addition to his wife, Larry is survived by sons,

Jeffrey and wife, Kelly, and Christophe­r; daughter, Deborah Shupe and husband, David; grandchild­ren, Emily, Zachary, Paul, Madison, and Cole; and several nieces and nephews. A brother, Ronald, preceded Larry in death. Services: A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, February 18th at 10:30 a.m. in the church, 4 So 5th St., Coplay. Those in attendance are requested to wear a face cover and practice social distancing. Interment will be private. Arrangemen­ts are under the direction of the Reichel Funeral Home, Northampto­n.
