Romona R.J. Heffelfinger-Ganssle

Romona R.J. Heffelfinger-Ganssle, 89 of Allentown, PA, formerly of Coplay, PA, passed away May 18, 2022, at Cedarbrook Nursing Home in Allentown, PA. Born August 11, 1932 in Catasauqua, PA, she was the daughter of the late Ralph Keller and the late Darling (Fink) Keller. She was the wife of the late Paul Heffelfinger, Jr.

who passed away in 1973 and the late Raymond Ganssle.

Romona was a sewing machine operator for the former Fuller Sportswear, Fullerton, PA for many years before retiring. She was a long time member of the former Trinity U.C.C. Church, Coplay, PA. Romona loved to go camping, listening to polkas, and doing crafts and ceramics with her grandchildren. At Cedarbrook she enjoyed singing on the choir and going on the outings that were offered.

She is survived by her sons, Keith A.

Mona Purcell of Coplay, PA, Felicia Bloch, wife of Ronald of Macungie, PA and Bonita Lantieri, wife of Paul of West Chester, PA; 10 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by brothers, Morris and Willard Keller, sisters, Delphinia Buskaritz, Nira Wagner and Althea Yenik.

The family will receive friends from 10:00

AM to 11:00 AM followed by a prayer service at 11:00AM on Thursday, May 26, 2022, at

Schisler Funeral Home, 2119 Washington Ave., Northampton, PA 18067. Family has requested private family only graveside interment to follow.
