Thomas S. Ritter ,

81 of Whitehall, PA, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on Monday, May 23, 2022, at his residence. Born January 19, 1941 in Nazareth, PA, he was the son of the late Alfred Ritter and the late Irene (Biechey) Ritter. He was the husband of Lorraine (Sommers) Ritter with whom he shared 62 years of marriage this past March 19, 2022.

Thomas was a graduate of Coplay High School who went on to become a self-employed plumber for 43 years before retiring in 2005. He was a member of Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church, Whitehall, PA, where he served on the church council along with many other duties at church. He was a former member of St. Paul's Union Church, Cementon, PA, where he was a consistory member along with many other duties until its closing. Thomas was a 32 Degree Mason with the F.& A.M. Chapman Lodge #637, Northampton, PA. He was also member of the

Laurel Fire Co., Cementon, PA.

Surviving along with his wife Lorraine, are son, Thomas A. Ritter and wife Denise, daughter, Alison F. wife of Tony Loyko both of Whitehall, PA, sister, Judith wife of Walt Humphreys of Dacula, GA, 6 Grandchildren; Matthew, Jessica, Thomas J., Adam, Timothy, and Jennifer, 3 GreatGrandchildren; Mason, Kendall, and Rowan. He was predeceased by a sister, Janice, and a grandson, Christopher.

A Funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday May 27, 2022 at Shepherd Of The Hills Lutheran Church, 4331 Main St. Whitehall, PA 18052. The family will receive friends from 10:30 AM to 11:00 AM prior to the services. Interment

will be private for the family at Greenwood Cemetery, Allen Twsp., PA. Schisler Funeral Home, 2119 Washington Avenue, Northampton, PA 18067 has been entrusted with his services. Contributions: May be made to Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church memorial fund or Shriners Children's Hospital both c/o the funeral home.
