Richard (Rick) John and Sherry Jean Cerny

Married for over 50 years and as in life always together, so they are in death. Rick passed away on May 19, 2022, and Sherry passed away on May 20, 2022.

Born on February 26, 1948, to John and Lois Cerny, Rick served in the United States Navy from 1966-1970. He worked for Brader's

Woodcraft for over 30 years and part time at Yeager Custom Cabinetry in the 1980's. Sherry was born September 25, 1944, the daughter of Charles and Elizabeth Garrison. She worked for many years at Lehigh

Valley Bank.

Rick and Sherry were married July 23, 1971. They lived in Bethlehem, PA for almost 40 years before moving to Lancaster, PA in 2012. Both were avid campers and created many outdoor memories with their grandchild­ren. Rick excelled at woodworkin­g projects, drawing, painting, stained glass work and running model trains. Sherry's crochet projects were numerous and creative, especially her Christmas ornaments. Sherry had a tremendous love for all animals.

They leave behind two daughters: Tracy, wife of Jim Dague, and their three children Kyleigh, Grayson, and Kelsea (Lancaster, PA). Susan, wife of Eric Schwartz, and their two children Jay and Alex (Marlton, NJ). Additional­ly, Rick is survived by his brother David John Cerny ( wife Charlotte Annette), his sister Linda Sue (husband Shelby Boggess) Sherry's survivors include her sister Nancy Hollowood, brother Keith Garrison (wife June), and an uncle. Both are survived by cousins, nieces, nephews and

great nieces and great nephews.

Services will be private. The family asks that in lieu of flowers, memorials are welcomed to organizati­ons Rick and Sherry supported and helped them in their final days.
