Howard R.E. Stettler, Jr., 92, of Orefield, passed away peacefully Saturday, June 4, 2022 at ProMedica S.N.R. (West Allen) in Allentown. He was the husband of Janet P. (James) Stettler to whom he was married 70 years. Born in South Whitehall Township, November 28, 1929,

Howard was the son of the late Howard E.H. Stettler, Sr. and Mary S. (Dotterer) Stettler. He was employed in the maintenanc­e department of Parkland School District for 25 years before retiring. Howard was a member of Jordan Evangelica­l Lutheran Church, Orefield.

Survivors: In addition to his wife, Janet; children, Stephen G.A. Stettler of Allentown, Diane P. Williams of Allentown, Eileen T. Levchik (John) of Alburtis, Glenn R.E. Stettler (Maribeth) of Orefield; seven grandchild­ren; four greatgrand­children; many nieces and nephews; predeceasd by brothers, Elwood, Clifford, Roy and Edwin Stettler and sisters, Bertha Roth, Bessie Guth, and infant child, Ruth.

Service: Funeral services will be held 11:00 am. Friday, June 10, 2022 at Jordan Evangelica­l Lutheran Church, 5103 Snowdrift Road, Orefield with the Rev. Dody S. Siegfried officiatin­g. Family and friends may pay their respects from 10:00 – 11:00 am. Friday in church. Burial will follow the service in the adjacent church cemetery. The family invites all attendees to a celebratio­n of Howard's life and to share wonderful memories in the Jordan Family Center immediatel­y following the interment.
